Kenneth RussellTHOMPSONOn the 8th April 2025 peacefully in Calderdale Royal Hospital aged 74 years (Huddersfield Barber for over fifty years). Dearly loved husband of Susan, of Lindley, devoted dad of Natalie and father-in-law to Danielle, a much loved grandad to Spencer and Mabel.

The cortege will leave McNulty Funeral Home, 25 New North Parade on Wednesday 7th May for service and cremation at Huddersfield Crematorium at 12.30pm. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation and meet at the crematorium.

Family flowers only please by request. Donations in lieu if so desired to Yorkshire Air Ambulance for which a donation box will be available at the crematorium.

A real character,Ken was a one off an-excellent Hairdresser and a kind human being who cut my hair for fifty years I will really miss him although he always called me Arthur? but that was Ken a real character.Hartley Crossland

Funny, friendly, engaging, entertaining - and Ken was a fine hairdresser as well !
We all started off as customers, but all became his friends.
Will be missed.

We attended school together in the 60s and have been friends ever since. Rest in Peace Kenneth, I shall miss our conversations on how to deal with the worlds problems, usually held in a local cafe.
